Full Dentures

Complete/full dentures are a custom-made removable appliance that replaces all natural teeth. A complete denture consists of high-quality acrylic material that goes over your gums. Each denture is personalized, improving facial appearance and self-confidence.
At Horizon Denture and Implant Solutions we offer a variety of full denture options, including standard dentures and complex dentures.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture is a great solution if you are missing one or even several teeth. This removable appliance eliminates gaps between teeth, improves chewing ability, all while maintaining a natural look. This type of prosthetic can be made of metal and/or acrylic. In consultation with you and your specific needs we will select the best solution and partial denture for you. We look forward to discussing options with you during a free consultation.

Implants

Removable Dentures on Implants Several denture wearers struggle with the fit of their dentures, resulting in sores or having to use adhesive. Others have trouble eating or chewing. If this is you, a removable denture on implants may be the solution for you. This type of denture improves your appearance by replacing missing teeth while providing improved overall function for eating and speech, combining the stability provided by dental implants with the convenience of a removable denture. The prosthetic securely snaps in place over attachments fixed in place using dental implants, which are artificial roots placed into the supporting bone. Dental implants help to preserve the bone which can shrink over time without a tooth root structure to retain it.
In comparison to a traditional denture, these secure and functional teeth are more likely to improve your confidence and quality of life.

Fixed Dentures on Implants Unlike traditional dentures that can be removed, fixed dentures are non-removable. This type of prosthetic looks, feels, and functions just like natural teeth because it is permanently attached to your dental implants. With a fixed denture you are able to eat, chew, bite, talk, laugh, and smile without the fear that your denture may slip and slide during daily activities. Since you don’t have to remove them every night for cleaning or put them in a glass of water beside the bed while you sleep, you might even forget you’re wearing dentures at all.

If you’d like to find out more about the process of implants call us to book a free consultation and we’d be more than happy to provide you with more information.

Immediate (Surgical) Denture

An immediate denture is a key solution when extractions of your remaining teeth become unavoidable. This type of denture allows you to never be without teeth as the process begins before the teeth are extracted. Impressions are taken of your existing teeth which are used to create models for the fabrications of your new dentures. Using your models, we can duplicate your teeth or make any changes, if you wish. We work together with you to create the smile you desire. The dentures are made for the day of extractions, following this procedure they are immediately placed in your mouth, never leaving you without a smile.
Following the extraction of your natural teeth getting used to dentures may be a challenge. We are here to work with you and help you get through the healing process. We are excited to meet you and provide you with more information during a free consultation.

Digital Dentures

If you’ve lost a couple, several, or all of your teeth, digital dentures may be an option for you. Digital dentures are an advanced innovative form of denture manufacturing using digital oral scans, progressive computer software, with digital acrylic printing and acrylic milling technology. Call us today to book a free consultation to find out more about how hand craftsmanship and digital technology are combined and if digital dentures are the right fit for you.

Denture Relines or Rebases

If you are finding that your denture is loose, adhesive is being used, food is getting underneath it, or no longer feels comfortable it may be time for a reline. This type of procedure re-fits your denture. A reline helps maintain the health of your supporting structures, tissue and bone. In most cases a reline of a complete or partial denture can be completed and given back to you the same day.
A rebase is a similar procedure to a reline. A reline replaces part of the pink acrylic whereas a rebase replaces most if not all the pink acrylic material. Rebasing may be recommended if the teeth in your dentures are still in good condition, but the base no longer fits or has been drastically damaged.
If you think you may need a reline or rebase, we are happy to evaluate your dentures here at Horizon Denture Center and Implant Solutions.

Same Day Repairs

When it comes to a broken denture or chipped tooth we understand that this can be frustrating. We here at Horizon Denture Center and Implant Solutions strive to complete most denture repairs in just a couple hours.

Night Guards

Here at Horizon Denture Center and Implant Solutions we offer custom-molded night guards. If you find that you clench or grind your teeth at night, denture wearer or not, what you may need is a nightguard. Due to “bruxism” (grinding) this type of appliance may prevent serious damage to your teeth and jaw. Give us a call today and we’d be more than happy to book you in for a free consultation. We will provide you with more information on how to protect your teeth at night.

Sports Guards

Sports guards provide protection for your teeth during any contact sport that may involve head collisions with equipment and/or individuals. Don’t regret waiting till there’s an accident and your teeth get knocked out, protect your smile and call us today to book a free consultation.

Other Services

Just like natural teeth, it is essential to keep your dentures clean. Plaque and tartar can build up quickly in a denture. These deposits can feel rough to the touch, be unsightly, cause a bad taste and even cause bad breath. They may also affect the fit and comfort of your denture. Staining from coffee or tea can be quite difficult to remove at home. Just as people have their natural teeth regularly cleaned to remove surface stains, your dentures can be cleaned to remove staining too.

If you’re looking to have your denture professionally cleaned call us today!
